BMW Motorcycles Press Release:
The 2012 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy is now under way in South America with 45 finalists representing 15 international teams for a week of adventure riding, special tests and teamwork challenges in the amazing Patagonian regions of Chile and Argentina.
For those not lucky enough to be competing, BMW Motorrad is offering a full range of multi-media coverage of the event so that GS fans from all over the world will be able to read about, watch and even participate in the event.
Vote in the GS Trophy Photo Competition:
The GS Trophy 2012 teams will be photographing all aspects of their adventure and submitting their best photos on the GS Trophy website where fans will be invited to vote for their favorite. As in the 2010 competition, the photos are posted without credit – so fans will vote for the best photo, not their favorite team. As in 2010, we can expect the wiliest of teams to reveal their identities one way or another...
Voting will be open for 24 hours, starting on Thursday November 29, afternoon (CET)
Teams will then be awarded points toward their overall competition score in accordance with their performance in the votes.
